They're not capable to think of that. They let slip the greatest opportunity they ever had. That says it all. They never cared about making better cars that we want and willing to buy. They only care their pockets are filled. Proton is not a business. It's their cash cow, it becoming success or not is irrelevant. If success, pockets are filled. If not, just beg for "soft loan" from taxpayers. Anything that threatens their pockets is relevant. As is, Volvo XC60 is still best seller SUV in Europe, and best seller model of entire Volvo range. Many love the new XC60, there's every reason to believe as you said, it will wipe the floor everyone else's SUV in its class. See, Proton is that incompetent.
