10.4% of TIME’s overall revenue now comes from Fibre Home Broadband [Financial]...

TIME dotCom Berhad announced today that it has recorded improved performance across all its segments, posting RM175.4 million in revenue for the second quarter ended 30 June 2016 (Q2 2016), 7.1% higher than the previous year (Q2 2015). The company revamped its TIME Fibre Home Broadband service during the period and has seen Q2 2016 retail revenue rise 24.6% on a quarter-on-quarter basis, making up 10.4% of the it’s overall revenue. “In March, we upped the ante in the Malaysian home broadband scene when we launched speeds of up to 500Mbps,” said TIME’s Commander-in-Chief, Afzal Abdul Rahim. “Take up has improved significantly, which goes to show that Malaysians are ready for ultrafast broadband.” FASTER , the TIME’s second trans-Pacific submarine cable investment in partnership with Google, became fully operational on 30 June 2016, through which the company realised a gain ...
