Latest: IAEA says Lynas plant "safe", but...

An IAEA panel has concluded that there is no instance of any non-compliance with international radiation safety standards at the Lynas plant under construction in Gebeng near Kuantan. But the panel came up 11 recommendations for the company to implement. This could delay the plant for years, the Sydney Morning Herald reports . Also check out the safety concerns expressed in a New York Times report on the plant and the Lynas CEO’s rebuttal.
