Google Confirms 1.4 Billion Active Devices Around the World, Doubled From Last Year

Google, in driving adoption rate of its Android platform, has confirmed that there are 1.4 billion active devices around the world being used right now. This, according to its recently appointed CEO, Sundar Pichai, has paved the way for the next one billion Google devices. The current line of active devices include those that run on Android for Work as well as devices that are now being developed or are now in the midst of being tested. This includes platforms that go beyond the smart devices that Google has worked hard to create the massive market dominance that it now enjoys and push itself constantly to leverage on at all times.
