There appears to be too many coincidences here. The water rationing is aimed at such a large area. It is my suspicion that Syabas is in bed with BN and are playing politics. It chose to focus on certain sections of the population. Some of the 112 areas mentioned are not even served by the Langat water treatment plant. A demographic evaluation of these areas will show interesting findings in term of ethnic distribution. Worse still the request to ration water are not being applied to the right authority. The National Water Services Commission does not have such authority. This is clear under the WSIA 2006. The authority lies with SSG or LUAS. This is well documented in the Selangor water enactment.
