Don’t honk!: Volkswagen recalls 71,043 Jettas in the US: Feeling testy with that guy who just cut in front of y...

Cars are getting so much more complicated, as a result, less reliable. I had the ECU of my car fried twice, and ESP module fried once. And replaced under warranty. This kind of problems seems to affect both contis and japs/koreans but contis are more susceptible to these problems. Ask any Beemer 5 series drivers about their ECU and exhaust sensors issue. GOne are the old days where u can fix a car with a hammer and a screwdriver.. Nowadays cars have sensors to look after something, and another sensor to look after that sensor. It was said a golf GTI has 57 sensors. Progress? Yes. It is progress. Cars are much more efficient nowadays. Burns less fuel, more powerful, more comfortable. But a bit more reliability would be appreciated.
