Proton looking at exports to drive profits – report

Proton’s export sales revanue contributed to less than 5% of total sales revanue. Its bad to the point it deserve a sympathy. Proton most succesful market is Thailand from what I gather, and in 2013 they move out 697 cars in the land of smiles. In comparison to 3305 of 2012 and 5530 in 2010 and those sales are achieved without the rather competitive Preve and Suprima S in. I believe thats the extand of how much we can support a local company. In Japan, people support their local brand because of tax reason, affording a car in Japan is not as easy as some thinks, and a majority ccan only go as far as a Kei car and a kei car are exclsuively manufectured by japanese manufecturers.
