Opel Monza concept to debut at Frankfurt show

The return of an old name points towards the future. This is the Vauxhall/Opel Monza concept that will make its world premiere at the Frankfurt show in September. It’s said to offer a preview of the next generation of Vauxhall/Opel’s design philosophy. Vauxhall says the concept marries “sculptural artistry” and “technical precision” to result in “lithe athleticism, rather than pure muscle power.” We don’t really speak design, but that is one very in-your-face face and we can’t wait to see the rest of it. The carmaker draws attention to the vehicle’s low stance, its prominent bonnet creases and the chrome grille bar carrying the Griffin logo which features winglets at both ends.
